With this freeware tool you can control per-process CPU usage. If your game freezes in intervals you can try to limit that game by 2-3 %. Launch the tool, then run your game, minimize it and limit it with BES. Also you should adjust the “Sleep/Awake Cycle” in “Control” so that the video won’t get jumpy/choppy.
