Windows 10 free upgrade offer ends July 29. If you still didn’t use this offer, we advise you to do so. Here is why.
Even if you are not going to use it right away, you should take advantage of this free offer. After the upgrade you roll back to your previous Windows version. After the upgrade Microsoft saves your computer information on their servers, only then you can reinstall / clean install Windows 10 on your system. Why pay after the offer expires? Use it before July 29. Sooner or later older they are going to end support for older Windows versions, then you will have the free option to start using Windows 10.
Please note: the roll back option is only valid for the first 30 days after the upgrade.
Steps to make if you are going back to Windows 7 or Windows 8:
- Open “Start menu” and select “Settings”.
- Select the “Update & security” icon and select “Recovery”.
- Under the “Go back to Windows 7” or “Go back to Windows 8” option click the “Get started” button.
- Follow the on screen guide to complete.
