Increase Nvidia frames per second by turning off service

Here is a tip to increase Nvidia frames per second by turning off service, performance gain is around 3-5%, still better than nothing. There is hidden service, turned on by default called “Nvidia Streamer”, which indented to stream to “Nvidia Shield” server. If you do not want to stream, this tip is for you.

Please note: Not all configurations have this service by default.

  • Click on “Start” > “Run” ” and type “services.msc ” and hit “Enter“.
  • Find and double click “Nvidia Streamer Service” service and under “Startup type” change to “Disabled“.

 

That’s it, you reduced CPU and GPU usage.
